Just a little of our Story

I was born in the U.S. and raised in Guatemala since I was 5. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Marketing. With over 18 years of professional experience, I faced a harsh reality after becoming a mother: finding remote work opportunities locally was nearly impossible.

Determined to work from home, I began exploring job opportunities in the U.S. and quickly discovered how many options were out there. However, applying from Guatemala (even as a U.S. citizen) came with challenges. That experience helped me recognize a larger issue: many U.S. companies seek to hire Latin American talent, but the complexities of payroll, benefits, compliance, and cross-border processes often make it seem daunting and risky. Managing payments, holidays, and expense tracking for international professionals can quickly become overwhelming.

After 9 years of working directly with U.S. companies, understanding their needs, and witnessing how the pandemic reshaped the workforce, I knew it was time to bridge that gap. I started developing this idea about five years ago, and over the last two years, I fully committed to turning it into reality. Along the way, with a lot of hard work, I connected with incredible founders, strategically located, and together we founded HIRE BEYOND TALENT with a clear mission:
